Call for Symposia

 

We are pleased to invite symposia proposals for the 35^th anniversary NBTE meeting, taking place on 10-11 December 2026 in Lunteren. Symposia provide an opportunity to bring together researchers and professionals working across the fields of biomaterials and tissue engineering.

 

We warmly invite Emerging Faculty members, Postdoctoral Researchers, and PhD candidates to submit their proposals for scientific symposia.

 

Symposium format

• 1 keynote presentation (15 min + 5 min Q&A)
• 4-5 oral presentation (10 min + 2 min Q&A)
• Total duration: 75 minutes

 

Proposal Guidelines

Each proposal should include:

• Title of the symposium
• Abstract (max. 300 words) describing the theme, objectives, and relevance
• Proposed keynote speaker(s) (name, affiliation)
• Organizer(s) (name, affiliation, contact details)
• Target audience and expected outcomes
• Any special requirements

 

Evaluation criteria

Proposals will be evaluated on:

• Scientific quality and originality
• Relevance to biomaterials and tissue engineering
• Fit of the proposed keynote
• Potential to attract a broad audience

• Deadline: August 1^st 2026, 5 pm

• Notification of acceptance: August 28^th 2026
